ELSA Moot Court Competition

ELSA Cluj-Napoca is proud to host the Regional Round of the ELSA Moot Court Competition (EMC²) for the 3rd time, between the 16th and the 20th of march 2011. After a series of great reviews, our local group has been given the honour to organise, once more, this important competition. The event will take place at the Belvedere Hotel in Cluj - Napoca, Romania.

ELSA Moot Court Competion is a contest on an International Trade Law case under the technical support of the World Trade Organisation.

The contestants, law students at prestigious law universities from all over Europe, will argue a case in front of a panel consisted of WTO collaborators, highly esteemed professors and practicians in the field. This year's 9th edition of the competition will bring together 10 teams from countries such as France, Spain, Ukraine, Lithuania, The United Kingdom and many others. The main objective of this event is to put face-to-face theoretical knowledge and practice, something indispensable for a professional lawyer.
